About Me
CV: (06/2025) [download]
Hi, my name is Liam. I’m a new grad of the Computer Science program at Carleton University, with a strong focus on systems programming, backend development, and applied software engineering. Outside of work, I enjoy reading about politics, trying new foods, playing space-themed video games and cheering for the Maple Leafs.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with several federal departments and private-sector organizations, where I focused on backend and systems-level development. In these roles, I've primarily worked with C and Java to support projects ranging from embedded systems to enterprise applications. My responsibilities have included implementing server-side logic, packet anaylsis, and contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of large, production-grade systems. These experiences have strengthened my ability to work across the software stack and contribute to technically demanding environments.
